John has been creating images, whether with a camera or pencil, ink and paper for as long has he can remember and has had extensive published work both as a graphic artist, designer and photographer over the last twenty years.

Based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, over the last ten years John's commercial photography has focused on event coverage, public relations and weddings, most recently becoming the official Destination Chesterfield photographer.
John's kit has moved on somewhat from his first camera (a Kodak Instamatic given to him by his sister) and uses the latest Canon pro gear and lenses.

A love of the local landscape is also evident in John's landscape photography: "I'm lucky in that I live on the doorstep of the Peak District which enables me to get out there as often as possible and see the landscape change throughout the seasons".
